This beautiful late 19th century bride's basket is made from quadruple plate silver, with a cased glass bowl. The marks on the basket are American, but I have not been able to identify the maker. The basket measures 13.75 inches in overall height, and 12.5 inches across the widest part of the handle. The base measures almost 5 inches in diameter where the feet slightly flare, and just under 4 inches in diameter where the glass bowl rests. The glass bowl is pink and white cased glass, with ruffled edge, trimmed in black. It measures approximately 11 inches in diameter, and stands 3.75 inches in height. Condition is excellent. No chips or cracks. This will be packaged with great care. See less
