A superb pair of antique Victorian mahogany hall / side chairs beautifully crafted with rich carved detail and elegant sweeping forms—an excellent example of mid-19th-century decorative seating.
These chairs feature finely carved scrollwork, shaped back panels with a shield motif and serpentine seats that gently flare forward. The turned front legs and splayed rear supports provide both character and strength. The mahogany timber has matured into a warm, inviting colour, showcasing attractive grain throughout.
Ideal for a hallway, bedroom, or as refined side chairs in any classic interior, they offer decorative presence while remaining practical and versatile.
