This striking set of four handmade Fenton Art Glass commemorative plates dates to the early 1970s and represents the first years of Fenton’s annual collectors plate series. Each plate features a richly detailed high-relief scene honoring early American craftsmen, including glassmakers, printers, and blacksmiths, celebrating the origins of skilled trades in Colonial America.
The plates are finished in Fenton’s signature iridescent carnival glass, displaying vibrant hues of teal, amethyst, bronze, and emerald that shift beautifully under light. Each plate is fully marked on the reverse with the Fenton Art Glass Company stamp, commemorative text, and year of issue, confirming authenticity.
