The scene is portrayed in the 18th century Baroque style. Note the small paned glass window the bulbous shape of the wine glass and pitcher, the shape of the wine glasses, the bench on which he is sitting, and the early style costume. Painted in the 18th or possibly earliest 19th century. The images highlighted by the young man's red cap with a feather in it. Later a gilt frame. See less
