The framework holds a window of foliate carving as well as further foliate relief carving in panels below . The screen portion above is removable and slides upward . Old repairs to some of the tiles which appear to predate the wooden stand . The finished dark hardwood reverse side likely had a mirror at one time. You might try using this atop chest of drawers in place of a mirror or painting. See less
