They are French Art Deco lithograph prints from a series called “Le Femme Chez Elle”. They were each illustrated and signed in lithograph stone by leading Art Deco artists of the period and represent the portrayal of the “woman at home”. The original paintings appeared in the Paris salon in 1934; these prints were published in the 1934 L’Illustration Noel magazine that highlighted the salon exhibition. Each artist, Paul Iribe, A. E. Marty, LePape, and Lydis are well-known Art Deco artists and are highly regarded and highly collectible, particularly with the passage of time. This is a special series of the 4 prints; they are difficult to find as an entire collection. They tell a story as a group and would make a wonderful presentation in any home décor. They have strong color and are presented in interior settings that reflect French Art Deco design elements. The prints are 10.5 x 14.5 inches in size. They are original to 1934 and are NOT recent reproductions. They are in A+ condition; each comes custom matted in a neutral 16 x 20 inch custom mat that works perfectly in a standard size frame.
