This lamp combines meticulous craftsmanship with decorative splendor and is a wonderful example of the Mid-Century Rococo Revival movement.

The lamp base is made of solid, hand-cast brass and displays exceptionally detailed ornamentation with floral rocaille motifs, shells, foliage, and volutes—typical elements of 18th-century French and Italian Baroque. The three-part base terminates in curved claws or shell shapes, giving the lamp a majestic stance.

The stem is richly decorated with multiple superimposed ornamental segments. The surface has been bronze-patinated and matte-finished, making it virtually indistinguishable from contemporary 18th-century originals.

The lampshade is crafted from high-quality leather in a warm cream/beige hue and features the typical bell shape with a scalloped edge. The double-layered fringe trim in cream and brown is particularly appealing, lending the shade a luxurious, salon-like character.

The lamp is likely of German, French, or Italian origin and was meticulously handcrafted. Every detail—from the chased brass to the hand-stitched leather shade—testifies to superior craftsmanship.

**Condition:**
The lamp is in good vintage condition with an authentic patina of age. The brass base has a warm, slightly oxidized surface, typical of vintage brass lamps.
