Made by Mücke Melder, an influential modernist furniture manufacturer that specialized in tubular steel designs.
In pristine original condition, the upholstery has been professionally cleaned and new fabric has been added.
The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored.
This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colors and occasional bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines instead. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
