Elegant French Art Deco dressing table, dating from the 1920s–1930s, featuring a tilting mirror and a single drawer.
The piece is crafted in wood with a beautifully figured burl veneer, resting on slender tapered legs, characteristic of early Art Deco design. The restrained geometry and balanced proportions give the piece a light, refined appearance.
Inside the drawer, the dressing table retains its original maker’s attribution label, reading:
“L’Ameublement – Ébénisterie, Tapisserie –
32 Rue des Vignoles, Paris”
This label confirms the Parisian origin of the piece and supports its attribution to a French workshop active in the early 20th century.
The surface shows consistent age-related wear, including a visible veneer mark on the top, in keeping with the period and clearly shown in the photographs. The structure is solid, the veneer stable, and the mirror original and functional.
This dressing table can also function as a console, vanity, or small writing table, making it versatile for contemporary interiors.
