Its characteristic six-leg construction, elongated runners and finely turned details reflect the forms that evolved from early folk craftsmanship in the 19th century and continued into the early 20th century.

The chair has undergone a careful restoration in our studio, while preserving its original structure, balance and authentic silhouette. The entire piece has been finished in a deep, matte black — a contemporary interpretation that highlights the slender spindles, sculpted seat and refined geometry of this timeless Scandinavian design.
