The chair … Read more Extremely rare RCA chair, from the 130 Series, designed by Geoffrey Harcourt in 1961 and manufactured by Artifort.
The chair is marked with the original metal Artifort tag underneath the seat.
It was designed as a graduation work at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1965 Artifort started a short production run of this model as part of the 130 Series. Not many of these are made and therefore this chair is very hard to find.
Stunning chair, it looks great from every angle.
It has a teak plywood seating and a chrome plated structure with beautiful feet.
The chair is in excellent and original condition, minimal traces of use. This piece has an attribution mark,
