Beautifully hand-stitched medieval motifs in wool with 4 birds, 2 roosters, and a central winged griffon in petite point surrounded by gross point flowers and foliage on an antique-golden colored ground. It has the imprint of the maker of the design, Musée de Cluny, Paris. It would be wonderful to convert to a pillow front, seat cover, or framed as it is with its linen mesh edges.
