A 1957 serigraph print by the Israeli artist Moshe Tamir (1924-2004). The composition has intricate line work layered with brown, blue, and yellow abstract shapes. Signed and dated to the lower left, the print is displayed in a black frame and cream mat.
Moshe Tamir studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, the Fine Arts Academy in Rome, and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1958, Tamir exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris and was voted a top twenty young artist in Europe. Additionally, Tamir placed first for lithography at the Sao Paulo Biennale.
