This is a stunning vintage French Louis XV Regency (or Regence) style gilt bronze mounted Kingwood Revival executive Semainier chest or commode with parquetry, marble top, Ormolu mounts, and a pierced brass gallery atop. Believed to be from the 19th century.
Features six dovetailed drawers, parquetry, one pull out tray, ornate brass hardware, a marble top, Ormolu mounts, and a brass pierced gallery atop.
Absolutely stunning, solid, and sturdy, with minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age.
