Other … Read more Rare red pitcher ‘cantaro’ from Calanda, Aragon-Zaragoza area of Spain, circa 1750 a rare piece from a Private collection. Other examples can be seen in the Museo de Zaragoza. With gorgeous original patina, this jar features the characteristic charcoal-colored hand streaking typical of 18th and 19th century pottery from Calanda, as well as classic sun symbols hand-pressed into the clay prior to firing. It has two irregular handles and a beautiful original patina. This item was a present for the brides in her wedding. See less
