Made of clay with handcrafted semi circular handmade ribbed around the vase This "tinaja" it´s very special for its measurements and irregular form. A "tinaja" is an oval terracotta jar with a narrow mouth and foot, usually without handles. The large jar, also called "tinajón", deeper and paunchy, has traditionally been used to store wine, and medium-sized, oil and cereal grains. See less
