There is much whimsy in the elegant art wall. A sophisticated collection of paintings add to the inviting feel of this vibrant scene. A young pup is keenly engaged with the viewer.

I paint these themes often as I travel to museums worldwide, and continue to learn from the old masters. Observing past art historical work never fails to ignite passion, emotion, and understanding. All symbols, motifs and other references are for the delight and interpretation of the viewer.

The slightly worn wood frame with gold leaf is a lovely finishing touch for this magnificent painting. (This scene has been featured on greeting cards.)
