Artist Rafael Ferrer lived and worked extensively in the U.S., moving between his native Puerto Rico and cities like New York and Philadelphia, teaching, exhibiting, and maintaining homes and studios in the U.S. (Long Island, NY) while also spending time in the Dominican Republic. He studied in the U.S., worked as a musician in NYC, taught art in Philadelphia, and had major shows at U.S. museums like the Whitney and MoMA. See less
