A 2004 art glass vase by the American glass artist Stephan Cox (born 1956). This delicate work is composed of a pink vase with rim pinched at two sides. The vase stands on a purple "skirt" with blue circle accent at top. The vase is signed and dated along the bottom edge.
Originally studying painting at the University of Minnesota, Cox went on to study printmaking and then glass at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He has working primarily in glass since 1979. His works are held in the collections of the the Corning Museum of Glass, The Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile, Alabama, SAS Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, among others.
