A Postmodern art glass vase by the American glass artist Stephan Cox (born 1956). This delicate work features a blue vase with rim pinched at two sides. The vase stands on a pink ruffled "skirt" with blue, red, and yellow circle design. The vase is unsigned.
Originally studying painting at the University of Minnesota, Cox went on to study printmaking and then glass at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He has working primarily in glass since 1979. His works are held in the collections of the the Corning Museum of Glass, The Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile, Alabama, SAS Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, among others.
