Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) antique woodblock print, Kasuga-ya Tokijiro and Yamana-ya Urazato, Two Lovers Fleeing the Snow. From the Kabuki play Urazato Tokijiro, The characters Kasuga-ya Tokijiro and Yamana-ya Urazato from the kabuki play known commonly as “Urazato Tokijiro”. The beautiful courtesan and her sweetheart Tokijiro are fleeing during a snowstorm.
Unframed, measures 15" x 10". Excellent condition, paper toning, lightly soiled. Lightly attached to matte with acid free, removable tape.
