A striking mid‑century Murano glass chandelier attributed to Barovier & Toso, handcrafted in Italy circa 1955–1965. The attribution is based on the chandelier’s refined use of graniglia glass, elegant ribbed stem, and sculpted floral elements—hallmarks of Barovier & Toso’s celebrated mid‑century production.
With its luminous cristallo (clear) and lattimo (soft white) glass, this refined piece creates a beautifully balanced, airy presence of effortless elegance in any space.
The gently fluted top crown features the graniglia technique, where tiny glass particles melt into the surface to produce a subtle, crystalline shimmer. These are not visible, but you can feel them if you run your fingers along the points. Ships disassembled. Dimensions without ceiling cover and chain: H=24 in. W=23 in. D=23 in. 12 lbs.
