This figure may be of Sancho Panza, famed companion to Don Quixote. The figure is well modeled in a 15/16th century style but appears to be later. The surface may have originally had gilding or gilt lacquer and the figure is mounted on an onyx base. The figure is modeled very much like a Renaissance or Baroque figure but shows no signs of lost wax casting.

Condition: Good general condition with surface wear and small chips and damages to the onyx base.
