The Virgin holds a fruit in her right hand, while the Child appears nude in a gesture of blessing. The carving belongs to the Spanish or colonial school of the 18th century, executed in a popular style but with great devotional power. The work has undergone subsequent restoration with repainting, during which floral motifs and more vibrant colors were applied. Photographic documentation of the original state before the intervention is preserved, providing transparency and certifying the piece's authenticity.
