The desk is vintage; its bright, pale green paint is original and patinated. The main photo accurately shows the furniture's color: celadon green. It appears grayish-green in some photos due to the lighting. The wood is sound. The desktop and its tiered shelf with niches and a drawer show numerous signs of wear (pencil marks, small dents, incisions along the edge, etc.), visible in the photos. One drawer provides some storage, but a small piece of wood is missing from its front. The chair is matching.
