The plate shows consistent coloration and typical base wear from age and use. The gilding remains clear and well-preserved, with some slight wear on the scallops, as noted in photos. This form appears in early pressed and overlay glass categories collected for their durability and decorative utility.

*Note-the silver gilding is VERY reflective & was difficult to photograph. The 3rd photo has a clear, accurate representation without reflecting the surrounding light. It shows a little wear around the outer rim.

*Measurements-the top is about 11" in diameter, it is approx. 5" tall and the foot/pedestal is about 4" in diameter.

This piece has been irradiated to produce the deep purple color. Note that this is definitely not dishwasher safe. See less
