This … Read more An extraordinary 18” x 14” Boston Mails Line “Saloon” platter, a highly collectible example of mid-19th-century maritime service china. This platter showcases a refined interior view of the ship’s first-class dining room—a much rarer subject than the more common exterior ship scenes.

The black transfer image is sharp, elegant, and surrounded by an ornamental scrollwork frame. Its impressive size makes it an exceptional statement piece for wall display in coastal, historical, or Americana-inspired interiors.
