This unusual Victorian ladies scent bottle was designed during the "Grand Tour" of the late 19th century. The bottle has a blue color glass marque shape body decorated with a golden brass overlay. Framed in the overlay, one finds two glass oval hand painted paintings of scenes of Rome. The bottle top is hinged &, when opened, reveals a small secure glass stopper. The top of the bottle is decorated with a small round glass, housing another hand painted scene of Rome, Italy.
