Antique Victorian English majolica pitcher with a wonderful raised bird motif. The body is decorated with a diamond lattice ground and applied flowers and leaves, with a central medallion showing a bird on a branch over a fan form. Classic turquoise, yellow and aubergine glazes with a rich plum-colored interior and a branch-form handle.
Beautiful styled on open kitchen shelving, in a cottage or English country display, or as part of a majolica collection.
