This magnificent casket is rectangular in shape with the lid and each side exceptionally well decorated with superb ormolu mounts in the form of cherib & acanthus leaf corner straps, beading and ribbon twirls with foliate cresting which frame fabulous hand painted Sevres porcelain panels. The panels feature splendid painted floral bouquets enclosed within charming gilt borders against a Bleu Celeste ground. The lid opens to reveal the sumptuous original cream velvet lined interior, which is ready to keep custody of your precious items.
