Beautiful early to mid-century French majolica oyster plate made at the St. Clement faience factory in France sometime between 1930-1960. The plate was hand-painted and features has six oyster wells in glossy seafoam green hues surrounding a yellow lemon wedge center that serves as the sauce or lemon well. The rim of the plate is molded in a blue nautical rope design.
It displays beautifully when not in use on the diner table. Bought in Paris. Marked and numbered.
