It is a stunning high quality notebook, decorated with intricate inlay work in a veneer of natural brown lacquerware. The cover is embellished with beautiful luminous hand carved inlay of mother of pearl flowers accented with gold leaves on stems. A thin silver line of pique work, outlines the cover. The interior is lined with velvet & holds a small Parisian notebook. This notebook belonged to a Margaret Blossom & information on a card provided by her great grandmother is included in the book. The original writing implement is missing & a newer pencil is present. Condition is very good with natural wear consistant with age.
