The sculpted handles and finial lend a refined touch, while the time-softened glaze and interior staining create a soulful wabi-sabi patina only age can achieve. Perfect for display on an open kitchen shelf, farmhouse sideboard, or styled with French ironstone and rustic pottery. Beautiful on its own or as part of a layered tablescape. Maker's mark is present but difficult to know for sure which pottery house produced this. In the style of W.H. Grindley, Brown-Westhead Moore, early Royal Doulton, or Wood & Sons. Measures approximately 11" long including handles, 8" deep, and 6" tall. In good antique condition with extensive crazing, interior and base staining, and surface discoloration consistent with age and authentic kitchen use. Two smalls chips on the underside of the lid. No other chips or cracks observed. Stable, display-worthy patina, perfect for collectors of primitive or farmhouse styling or who love the cottagecore English look. See less
