Pair of Antique Neoclassical / Hollywood Regency White & Gilt Porcelain Lamps with Bronze Mounts and Custom Parchment Shell Shades
This elegant pair of table lamps features tall Neoclassical porcelain bodies finished in a crisp white glaze and decorated with finely executed gilt foliate and medallion motifs.
The porcelain sections are mounted on patinated bronze bases and collars, each showing "Classical" detailing including fluted bands, acanthus borders, and stepped plinths.
The lamps retain their warm, custom-made parchment shell shades, each with applied gilt accents and a softly mottled surface characteristic of handmade parchment.
Lovely slender Corinthian Collums elegant form and so Classic.
The overall design reflects late 19th to early 20th-century Neoclassical Hollywood Regency revival aesthetics, blending refined porcelain work with substantial bronze elements for a balanced, stately presence.
The Shades were from a Retired Lampshade maker who was considered one of the best Lampshade makers in the world, They are hand painted and hand gilt with Gold Leaf and scrolls, nobody does this kind of work anymore .
