Original vintage expressionist wood block print titled "Marine Life" noted artist proof signed titled and dated 1969 by Sylvia T Gavurin. Printed on Japan paper. Measuring 8”x11” image size and 14” x 17 overall paper size. Offered unframed perfect for the beach house or any interior. We acquired a group of prints from the artists estate. Sylvia T Gavurin (1911 - 2002) was a Los Angeles based artist best known for her printmaking she showed in local exhibits her work is held in several private collections. In the 1940s Sylvia Gavurin was a court stenogrepher for the military. She was assigned to record the trials at Dachau Germany. This had a profound affect on her life and was an influence in her art work.
