A beautiful 15th-century Sawankhalok / Sukhothai bowl from early Thailand, decorated with a hand-painted fish motif in soft iron-oxide brushwork. The bowl has the classic cream-to-grey glaze, natural age crackle, and the organic, wabi-sabi texture that defines early Thai ceramics.
The design features a lively brush-painted fish at center, surrounded by a soft washed border—an iconic decorative style produced in the Thai kilns of the 1400s. The base shows original kiln grit from firing, with a faint clay line that is not a crack but a natural mark from the making process.
This piece brings wonderful texture, warmth, and authenticity to a tabletop, console, or shelf display and works beautifully layered with celadon, stoneware, or minimalist interiors.
