It has a diamond pattern and is a thick piece of crystal. Remove it for easy cleaning. Honey, jam, syrup, or anything else you choose to fill it with no worries, the glass is easy to wash and refill. The outside is shaped like an apple and thx top even has a stem and leaf. The stem doubles as a handle for the lid. Nice as a decorative piece but even better as a functioning server. Makes a great Rosh HaShanah gift!! See less
