Many consider Saito to be one of the most important, if not the most important, contemporary Japanese printmakers of the 20th century. The original print depicts a snow covered scene with figures among thatched-roof houses Signed on front in white with red seal. Written in pencil on bottom: “Winter in Aizu (13), 1969, Numbered 6/100". Framed and matted.
