French Iron Rat de Cave Spiral Candle Holder Made in France 4.5" x 4.5" x 8" This lovely twist up candle holder has been made in Burgundy France from the mid-18th century. This is a vintage Rat de Cave (Cellar Rat) hand forged thick iron candlestick by Bouille. Holder is adjustable with a rat tail handle that spins around the spiral to adjust the length of the candle. Over 1000 years of tradition from Burgundy cellars - still hand made in France. Holds a 1.25" inch wide candlestick.
