This original vintage serigraph, City Shapes III, is a limited edition work by American artist Richard Conn (1932–2019). The print is signed, titled, and numbered 60/100 along the lower margin and reflects Conn’s signature geometric abstraction, characterized by layered shapes and a bold color palette. The piece is part of his City Shapes series, inspired by the architecture, rhythm, and cultural blend of San Antonio. Conn collaborated with master screen printer Esquivel at Southwest Screen Graphics to produce the edition, with each of the seven colors hand-stenciled.
The artwork is presented with a clean white mat and displayed behind glass in a black-toned wooden frame. An original gallery information sheet is affixed to the back, offering background on both the artist and the creation of the series. This is an ideal piece for collectors of mid-century abstract prints, Texas regional art, or limited-edition serigraphs.
