In the 1930s, be began his work creating intricate furniture designs using unique materials. Tura is most famous for his use of lacquered goatskin and complex, labor-intensive work. Even as the world began to switch to mass-production, Tura prefered to produce items that were so intricate they were not able to be replicated with a large factory system, making many of his items rare or difficult to find today.

This elegant Aldo Tura bar cart, on brass Shepherd casters, is an exquisite piece in very good vintage condition. Both levels have a glass covering to protect the crackled goat skin beneath. Drawer is 12.75" wide by 10.5" deep.

Not all Aldo Tura bar carts are labeled, as some vintage pieces may lack original tags or markings. However, many of his works, especially those produced during his lifetime, can be identified by their distinctive materials and design style. This cart is unmarked as Aldo Tura. See less
