Chic wire work handled basket, executed in brass, Made in Italy c 1950/70's. The oval body is constructed of repeating wire elements, with a handle, all mounted on a circular plinth base. Most of these are done in silver plate, it is unusual to see one in brass.
This example is in very good, original, clean and ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age.
