Design Plus Gallery presents a Korean Tansu Chest from the 19th Century. The chest has a medium brown wood tone of figured elm wood with brass hardware that is referred to as butterfly. Three pieces make up the entire unit with the lowest piece having legs being the unique to the other two. This shallow piece holds three quarter width drawers as well as the feet for the unit. The other two pieces are identical in size and design. There are two middle doors that open to reveal their empty cavity. You can separate all three and place around the home at will or rather have it on display as shown. For its age + use we consider the three piece chest to be in good condition.
