I am not certain of age, it may be older. It is a very traditional form... I decided to err on the side of newer = MCM, due to the upholstered with fabric seat and blended leather upholstery.

Quite good VINTAGE 1960s condition, and surprisingly comfy. The soft leather (possibly a vinyl-naug blend) is soft/thick/sturdy, and the foam is still very supportive. The back of the chair is tightly tufted with buttons, and the edges are expertly tacked with embossed bronze nail-head tacks. The seat fabric is a moss-green woven upholstery fabric, so the bum doesn't slide about, get too warm, or make "that" noise when you get up or sit down.

SHIPPING NOTE: The chair will arrive carefully packaged in a large box and will likely require 2 people or a dolly, as it may be unwieldy (32x32x32 box). The legs will be removed and packe inside securely with their screws. They should be fairly easily to replace, but again, you may need some help.

The Photo color is reasonably accurate, possibly a bit brighter. This would look good in any office, person-cave, small seating area or writing/computer area in any room. It would make a nice head of dining table chair too.

Some faint scritching of wood finish, but still has a nice shine on arms & legs- there are no gouges or cracks.

There are small depressions and teenie puncture marks (cat?) in small areas of the green leather-blend upholstery, okay, with faint water droplet marks on the tufted back, but it should be easy to polish/buff out.

The black interfacing cover underneath the Bottom of the seat is torn off. I will trim it, so it is tidier soon. (The last photos show the tiny vintage flaws.)

I do a thorough check during the photography process, BUT I will do a final thorough check and cleaning before shipping. I will let you know immediately if I find anything important you need to know.
