Vintage set of three framed watercolor paintings by artist Harry McGregor, depicting Scottish coastal scenes.
The scenes are characteristic of the historic fishing villages found along the Fife coastline. various Scottish harbours in the East Neuk of Fife, including Crail Harbour , Pittenweem and St. Andrews.
Pictures are matted and encased in gold painted wood frames.
Born in 1928 in Dundee, Harry studied at Dundee Art College before joining the D.C. Thomson publishing group as an illustrator. He became a freelance artist in 1972 and thereatter participated regularly in many joint and solo exhibitions throughout Scotland until his death in 2014.
