A set of four "Tulipa" glass plates designed by Swedish artist Ulrica Hydman (1938-2018) for Swedish glass company Kosta Boda. Made in Sweden, these plates have a hand-painted design with stylized tulips in red and yellow. The plates are marked with a Kosta Boda sticker on the rim.
Ulrica Hydman Vallien specialized in stained glass and spent some time working for Kosta Boda. She was one of only 50 artists to be selected in designing pieces for British Airways. Today, her work in found in museums worldwide, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, and more.
