An imposing ministerial centerpiece desk, 1960s/70s
Made of solid beech wood, it has a simple, elegant, and very linear design.
The legs are truncated pyramids with a square base, and it features five spacious drawers, two on each side and one in the center. Each drawer has functioning locks, with brass escutcheons. At the center of the top is a built-in shelf covered in blue faux leather, recently replaced.
The piece is solid, heavy, and sturdy. In excellent condition, with some light signs of age and use. We cleaned and polished it for preservation.
