The form of this lounge chair features a dramatic cantilevered S-curve silhouette with a floating seat and tall, gently arched backrest, creating a striking architectural presence that feels both bold and inviting. A particularly interesting detail is the integrated rolling and swivel base. Discreet casters concealed beneath the upholstered plinth allow the chair to glide smoothly forward and backward, while the seat also swivels gently side to side (not a full 360-degree rotation). This subtle range of motion adds comfort and flexibility while preserving the chair’s clean, monolithic profile. The chair retains its original upholstery, an abstract geometric decorator textile with a fine, pointillist splatter ground that gives the surface a hand-painted, air-sprayed quality.
