Antique Anglo Indian porcupine quill box, c.1900
These were made in Ceylon, now Sri Lanka, as a local folk art using shed quills and ebony. This one is rectangular in shape in good antique condition with all quills and dots intact. These interior is red with an inlaid lid panel. Recently waxed and polished.
