Each petal and leaf is outlined in fine white slip trailing that catches the light, creating a subtle three-dimensional effect against the shimmering gilt background. The rim is edged in a warm burnished gold that glows like molten metal. Turned over, the reverse reveals the characteristic creamy crackle-glazed body typical of Satsuma ware, with a simple, unglazed foot ring and faint traces of age.
